Girlfriends Great Eggscape 2013

Join us May 16-19 for the fifth annual Girlfriends Great Eggscape. Escape for the whole weekend - to relax, relate and release! A getaway weekend with workshops, exercise classes, pub crawl, shopping, and much, much more!

Event Fee
The event fee is $75 - and includes welcome reception (hors d'oeuvres and wine tasting), DJ for dance, karaoke, exercise extravaganza, Sunday brunch, and more. Look for the asterisk (*) at the end of the line to see the events that are included in the $75 event fee (and have no additional fee).

Welcome Reception
Get relaxed and unwind. Meet fellow escapees at our welcome reception. Wine tasting - with generous portions. Plenty of food - including hot and cold appetizers, sandwiches, fruit and more. Explore our bazaar/marketplace and get an idea of what local businesses have to offer. We'll have background music that switches over to dance music that gives way to karaoke as the night moves along. Food, drink, entertainment and guaranteed fun! Friday night from 6-8pm. Included in your event fee.

Optional Activities
There will be plenty of optional activities as well - such as spa treatments, ziplining, workshops, etc. The optional activities do require an additional fee.

Lodging
The Landmark Resort is the official headquarters for the Girlfriends Great Eggscape once again in 2013. The event is put on jointly by the Landmark Resort and the Egg Harbor Business Association. Lodging is an additional cost to the $75 event fee. If you elect to stay at the Landmark Resort, you participate in the group rate - with a discount off our regular rack rate.

Jean Brinkley will explain benefits and applications of 7 essential oils and blends supportive of
physical and emotional health. You will sample all and will take 3 samples home with you. $10

9-10:30am | Scones & Coffee | Pink Bakery | $20
Make and bake Pink's signature scones from scratch; making your own flavors. Yummy goodness
made with your own hands.

11am-12:30pm | Cupcakes & Lollies | Pink Bakery | $20
Make and decorate cupcakes and lollies (cake balls) with decadent flavors.

12-1pm | Margaritas & Mexican Tapas | Mojo Rosa's | $20
Sample tequilas and make your own margaritas while enjoying authentic tapas from Oaxaca.

12-3pm | Adventure Zipline Tour | Door County Adventure Center | $30
1,500-foot zipline, certified instructors. No size or age limitation. Have the ride of your life!

1-2pm | Stress Management | Spa Verde | $10
Learn how to give yourself and friends a relaxing neck, shoulder, arm and hand massage.

1-2pm | Martini Making | Mojo Rosa's | $20
Join in the fun. Create your own martinis and feast on Oaxacan taps!

2:30-4pm | Soap & Spa Gifts | Harbor Ridge Winery | $20
Make soap as a group project, then make a personal liquid soap, spa salt and cream. You will be able to personalize your products with scent, labels and leave with a spa tote to gift or keep for yourself.

3pm | 15 Creative Ways to Tie a Scarf | Kim's Boutique *
Learn fun and creative ways to be fashionable while wearing a scarf.

4pm | Cheese "Tour" of Wisconsin | Wisconsin Cheese Masters | $10
Unwrap the mystery and history of fine Wisconsin cheeses. This fun and informative tasting
adventure takes place in our new private tasting room, and introduces you to ten of our world's
largest array of award-winning offerings.

6-8pm | Welcome Reception | Landmark Resort, Egg Harbor Room
Visit and relax. Check out spring fashions. Enjoy hors d' oeuvres, wine tasting and music.

8-11pm | DJ and Karaoke | Landmark Resort, Egg Harbor Room
DJ Gus Michaels will play background music from 6-8pm. Dance music from 8-10pm, and karaoke after that.
