1. SPONSOR: The Landmark Resort is solely responsible of all aspects of the resort’s 25th anniversary celebration … drawings and contests.
2. HOW TO ENTER: Visit the Landmark Resort web site www.thelandmarkresort.com. Choose the contest you would like to enter and provide your name, a valid email address (winners will be notified by email only) and appropriate contest requirements (as outlined in each contest). Simply e-mail to: stay@thelandmarkresort.com
3. ELIGIBILITY: The contest is open to anyone worldwide. To enter and claim a prize, a person must have attained the age of majority as of the date of a draw and may be obligated to pay for shipping and handling charges for a prize if requested. Employees of the Landmark Resort, and their immediate families are not eligible for any contest or drawing.
4. NUMBER OF ENTRIES: We welcome and encourage multiple submissions. Maximum of one (1) entry per person, per contest, per day.
5. NO PURCHASE REQUIRED: No purchase, payment or membership is necessary to enter any contest or drawing associated with the Landmark Resort’s 25th anniversary celebration.
6. DEADLINE: The entry deadline for monthly contests is midnight on the 25th of each month.
7. CONTEST ENTRY PERIOD: The contest submission period begins January 1, 2010 and ends December 25, 2010. Monthly contests and drawings are through the 25th of the month. The Landmark Resort's computer is the official timekeeping device for these contests. All Entries must be received by 12:00:00 p.m. CST on the 25th of the month to be eligible for that particular month.
8. THE DRAW PROCESS: To determine the winner of a prize, a random drawing will be held by the Landmark Resort from eligible entries received on or before the date set for the close of a contest. The draw will take place at the Landmark Resort offices located at 4929 Landmark Drive, Egg Harbor, WI 54209.
9. CONTACT: Winning entrants will be notified by email. In the event that the Landmark Resort is not able to contact a winner within five (5) days of the issuance of a notification email, the selected entry will be deemed to be null and void along with any rights to the prize and another entry will be selected from the remaining eligible ballots. The odds of being selected are dependent on the total number of eligible ballots received. Before being declared a winner, the selected entrant must first be confirmed as to eligibility.
10. PRIZES: Prizes cannot be refunded and are not convertible to cash. In the case of the 25th wedding anniversary free night, a maximum of 20 prizes will be awarded for any given month.
11. RESTRICTIONS: All prizes are subject to certain restrictions. The restrictions for overnight stays are printed on the award certificates, and typically include: not valid for holiday or festival weekends, based on availability, reservation required, no upgrades allowed, and that they have no cash value (must be used as an overnight stay).
12. PUBLICITY: Prize winners must call between 10 am and 4 pm Central Standard Time – to give additional details to be used in press releases (home town, how came to enter contest, etc). This requirement is communicated via the e-mail notification. By entering a contest the entrant agrees to accept all emails from the Landmark Resort, and gives the resort the right to use any information supplied by the entrant for its own purposes.
13. BINDING DECISION: By entering a contest, entrants agree to be bound by and abide by the contest rules and the decisions of the Landmark Resort, which shall be final and binding with respects to all aspects of the contest, including and without limitation to the eligibility of entries.
14. PROPERTY RIGHTS: All entries automatically become the property of the Landmark Resort and will not be returned. The Landmark Resort is not responsible for any lost, misdirected or delayed entries.
15. HOLD HARMLESS: By entering a contest a contestant agrees to indemnify and hold the Landmark Resort, its suppliers, affiliates, officers, directors, agents and employees harmless and to release them from any and all liability, damages, or cause whatsoever, however named or decided, with respect to or arising out of participation in a contest, or the receipt or use of the prize awarded.
16. TECHNICAL MALFUNCTION: The Landmark Resort, its agents and assigns are not responsible for technical, internet, hardware, software or telephone malfunctions of any kind and lost or unavailable network connections, which may limit the ability to participate in a contest or by any human error which may occur in the processing entries.
17. RIGHT TO CANCEL, MODIFY OR SUSPEND: If for any reason (including infection by computer virus, bugs, tampering, unauthorized intervention, fraud, technical failures, or any other cause beyond the control of the Landmark Resort which corrupts or affects the administration, security, fairness, integrity or proper concluding of a contest), the contest can not be completed as described in the rules, the Landmark Resort shall have the right, in its sole and absolute discretion, to cancel, terminate, modify or suspend the contest.
18. APPLICABLE LAW: A contest is subject to all applicable state and federal laws and regulations of the State of Wisconsin.
19. Entries cannot be sexually explicit or suggestive, unnecessarily violent or derogatory of any ethnic, racial, gender, religious, professional or age group, profane or pornographic, contain nudity or any materially dangerous activity.
20. Entries cannot promote illegal drugs, tobacco, firearms/weapons (or the use of any of the foregoing), any activities that may appear unsafe or dangerous, or any particular political agenda or message.
21. Entries cannot contain copyrighted materials owned by others including but not limited to photographs, sculptures, paintings and other works of art or images published on or in websites, television, movies or other media.
22. Entries cannot contain materials embodying the names, likenesses, photographs, or other indicia identifying any person, living or dead, without permission.
23. Entries cannot communicate messages or images inconsistent with the positive images and/or goodwill to which the Landmark Resort wishes to associate.
24. Entries cannot depict, and cannot itself, be in violation of any law.
