In winter, there’s much to celebrate in northeastern Wisconsin and Door County. The area’s beauty doesn’t vanish beneath a blanket of snow. Instead, it becomes prime winter sports country, with thousands of miles of snowmobile trails and several state parks in which to enjoy skiing, snowshoeing and other outdoor activities.
Other features make this part of Wisconsin an excellent vacation choice. The area’s maritime heritage is celebrated in local museums, several of which remain open in the winter. A heritage of another kind is celebrated at Lambeau Field, home of Green Bay’s renowned football team.
There are many things to enjoy here – shopping, dining, the arts, football, outdoor fun and much more. Make a trip to northeast Wisconsin a celebration of winter and enjoy all it has to offer.
