FAM Event
On June 2-4 the Landmark Resort hosted a FAM Event for meeting and event planners. It was an opportunity to showcase the newly remodeled property, share in a variety of group activities and get to know each other.
We had a few people take their best shot at miniature golf. Scores ranged from a low of 43 to a high of 60 with plenty of stories to share.
We visited Simon Creek's Winery ... and tasted some wine.
People shopped ... and tasted some more wine. A few more so than others.
Toured some other facilities. You know, that winery with the talking crate. And tasted some more wine.
Shopped at a few other places ... like the garden shop and candle shop. Yeah, no pictures available of that.
And we shared in a tea party at the Door County Coffee & Tea Company. Guys, how did you like it? Yes, that's Terri and Bill at the other end of the table.
Took the trolley through Peninsula State Park, Fish Creek, Carlsville, Ephraim and Egg Harbor.
And we had a lot of laughs. Like when Maria and Claudia managed to lock themselves in a closed restaurant.
How was it that the golf ball wouldn't bounce off any of those rocks? Barb, what's the answer?
There was a group of non-golfers that seriously took to shopping while the miniature raged on.
Is it fair to say that Barb (yes, there were two Barbs) liked to stir the pot? Was this doing the "do-whop" back-up or singing lead?
For some, karaoke was a resounding success. I can't recall how or why.
Two words: "Love Shack" ................................ oh, baby!!
Linda and her husband Steve join Louise at the bonfire.
Rumor has it that there may be a few photos out there yet; a few pictures of Hands On Art Studio and some of the finished pieces.
Putting finishing touches on an art project.
The music was loud, and the paint flowed smoothly.
Gaining inspiration for their art project.
The artist side was brought to the surface.
Some designs were intricate and delicate ... while others were bold.
Getting started ...
Thanks to all our FAM participants. You made the event a great one. We hope to see you back at the Landmark very soon. For other event planners brave enough to wander through this part of the web site ... we are planning future FAM events, and if we can have half the fun we had at our June event, you will not want to miss it!
