American Folklore Theatre

    Door Shakespeare

Peninsula Art School of Door County
For forty years, the Peninsula Art School has been a destination for exploration in the visual arts. Peninsula Music Festival
Celebrating 53 years as Northeast Wisconsin's only fully professional symphony orchestra. Music Director Victor Yampolsky is joined by musicians from America's finest orchestras for 3 weeks, Aug. 2 – 20, 2005.     The Ridges Sanctuary
The Ridges Sanctuary is an unusual pocket of boreal forest. Rare and threatened wildflowers find refuge within the alternating ridges and swales of the sanctuary. Throughout the wildflower season a delightful display of natural beauty greets visitors. Beginning in early spring and continuing through late autumn the Sanctuary features a terrestrial tapestry of native flowers. Trails are open to the public for a fee. Birch Creek Music
Performance Center

Birch Creek is Door County's unique summer music school and concert venue. By day, nationally known music professionals teach promising young musicians.     Midsummer's Music Festival

Fairfield Center for Contemporary Art

    The Clearing
Since 1935, people have come to The Clearing in northern Door County to learn in a beautiful and inspiring setting. The Clearing offers weeklong residential classes from May through October in the arts and fine crafts, humanities and natural sciences. Classes are taught in the relaxed, informal style of the Danish folk school tradition. Summer seminars and fall and winter day classes complete The Clearing's offerings. Noble Historic Museum
