With 294 one-, two-, and three-bedroom suites, The Landmark is the largest resort in Door County and a gathering place for families and couples alike. It blends room to spread out, resort amenities, and Door County's natural rhythm into one easy stay.
Two heated outdoor pools sit at the lodging buildings and the indoor pool is open around the clock, with a whirlpool and sauna in every building. Outside there are courts for tennis and pickleball, a basketball court behind the playground, shuffleboard, and cornhole, with equipment available at the front desk. Two nature trails wind through the woods and along the bluff above the bay. Unwind poolside, gather around the fire pit at dusk, or head over to Ember for dinner and a sunset over the water.
It's all yours to explore, or to ignore entirely, if all you want to do is slow down.

The Landmark Resort has been part of the Egg Harbor landscape for over 40 years, and we're giving it a well-earned refresh beginning November 1st, 2026. We're remodeling guest suites and gathering spaces while keeping what guests come back for: views of the water, room to spread out, and easy access to everything Door County has to offer. Venture Out, Then Come Home to The Landmark
Egg Harbor sits about halfway up the peninsula, so you can pick a direction from the Landmark and hit something worth stopping for within fifteen to twenty minutes. Go out for a coffee, an afternoon, or the whole day, and the quiet is still here when you get back.
State & County Parks
Peninsula State Park and Cave Point are both close, along with the quieter county parks most visitors drive right past. You'll find trails, beaches, and the best of the fall color within a few miles of the resort.
Golf
Four courses sit within fifteen minutes of the resort, and two of them are right here in Egg Harbor.
Wineries
Sip your way through the ten wineries on the Door County Wine Trail, most of them within a half hour of the resort and most pouring the fruit wines the peninsula is known for.
Historic Lighthouses
Door County's lighthouses have stood watch over the water for more than a century, and several are open to visitors. Plan a day around one or string a few together along the shoreline.
Shops & Art Galleries
Main Street in Egg Harbor is a few minutes downhill, and the galleries, studios, and shops of Fish Creek, Sister Bay, and Ephraim are all an easy drive north.
Kayaking, Boating & Fishing
Pick a calm morning to kayak the sea caves at Cave Point or paddleboard the glassy water off Nicolet Beach. Hop on a boat tour at the Egg Harbor marina, minutes from the resort, or head to Sturgeon Bay for smallmouth bass fishing.
