Can we reserve a specific room number or building when booking?
We are happy to note any room or building preferences but are not able to guarantee it. We will make every effort to honor requests.
Do you have a minimum stay requirement?
Minimum stay requirements will vary based on the time of the year. There is a two-night minimum stay requirement from June 1 through October 31. There is a two-night minimum on weekends only (any stay that includes a Friday or Saturday night) from November 1 through May 31.
When is housekeeping service provided?
With the Landmark Resort’s commitment to sustainability, traditional stay-over service is available by request. If you would like daily housekeeping service, please call the Front Desk (ext. 5056), and we will be happy to assist you.
What time is check-in and check-out?
The standard check-in time for the Landmark Resort is 4:00pm or later, and our standard check-out time is by 11:00am on the day of departure. You may register at the Front Desk anytime during your day of arrival. If you provide a cell phone number, the Front Desk will send you a text when your suite is ready to be occupied, even if it may be hours before the standard check-in time.
Do you allow late check-outs?
Late check-outs are not available during the summer season, but they may be available during the shoulder season based on occupancy. Contact the Front Desk on the morning of your departure for more details.
Do you allow smoking in the resort?
The Landmark Resort is a smoke-free environment. Smoking and vaping are prohibited in all buildings. Open flames (such as candles or incense burning) are also prohibited. There are designated smoking areas outside of each building.
Are pets allowed?
The Landmark Resort does not allow pets. Service animals that are needed due to a disability and are trained to perform a specific task are allowed.
Is laundry service available?
Self-service laundry facilities are located throughout the resort for your convenience. The machines will take coins or payment through an app.
Is there parking for recreational vehicles and/or boat trailers?
An overflow parking lot near the main entrance will accommodate buses, boats, trailers, recreational vehicles, and other large vehicles.
Are there bike, boat, or other rentals at the resort?
The resort has tennis rackets, basketballs, pickleball paddles, and shuffleboard equipment available for guest use. The balls and equipment to play games are offered at no cost to our guests. For off-site activities such as boating, biking, and kayaking in Door County, our staff is delighted to help you locate the appropriate vendor.
Does the Carrington take reservations?
Reservations are not required, but they are highly recommended, especially during peak seasons. Reservations can be made by phone at 920.868.5162 or on the website.

Door County's Beer Fest is BACK, featuring more than 40 Midwestern craft breweries with over 150 beers to sample at the grounds of Maxwelton Braes in Baileys Harbor. "POUR" DECISIONS PACKAGE
Don't miss out on Door County's Wine Festival, taking place on June 24 from 12:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. Showcasing the eight wineries on the Door County Wine Trail that are well-known for producing fruit wines, sample your way through a variety of sweet and tart wines listening to great music and feasting at tantalizing food trucks. Don't worry about making "pour" decisions, though - the Landmark Resort is here for you, offering tickets to the Wine Festival, a reduced rate on your suite, AND your choice of a bottle of Anchored Roots' Cabernet Sauvignon or Chardonnay. Plus, the Landmark Resort is a pickup and dropoff location for Wine Festival's shuttle! (Be in the front lobby of the Pilothouse by 11:30 a.m. on June 24 for the shuttle)
