How do I choose the perfect wedding venue in Door County?

Start with what matters most to your day—water views, guest count, indoor/outdoor flexibility—then go see it in person. At The Landmark Resort, you can tour both the Egg Harbor Room and the Flagship Garden in a single visit and feel right away which one fits.

Can we bring in our own caterer, or do we have to use yours?

All food and beverage at The Landmark Resort is provided in-house, so outside caterers aren’t permitted. You’re welcome to bring your own cake, though — we’ll even cut and serve it for $5 per person.

What does a wedding day timeline actually look like at Landmark?

Your venue is guaranteed ready by 3:00 PM on your wedding day, often earlier, giving your vendors plenty of time to set up before guests arrive. Our Catering Coordinator will map out your exact day-of schedule once you book.

How much does it cost to host a wedding at The Landmark Resort?

Wedding venue pricing varies by season and day of the week. Venue rental rates start at $5,000 with peak-season Saturday pricing up to $8,000 and select premium dates priced higher. A food and beverage minimum also applies and is determined by our on-site catering team based on your event details.

How far in advance should we book?

As early as you can, especially for summer weekends — popular Door County wedding dates fill up fast. Booking early also locks in a complimentary one-night suite for the two of you.

How many guests can each space hold?

The Egg Harbor Room holds up to 200 guests, making it our largest space for receptions, while the Flagship Garden is built for a serene ceremony location . Tell us your headcount and we’ll point you to the right fit.

What's included in a wedding package?

Every venue rental includes setup and cleanup, tables, chairs, linens, glassware, and dedicated wait staff and bartenders. Exact inclusions vary by space and date, so your Catering Coordinator will walk you through the full breakdown.

How long do we have the space for?

It depends on your specific package and space, since every wedding’s timeline looks a little different. Our dedicated event staff will confirm exact hours the moment you book.

What should we consider before booking the venue?

Guest count, season, and how much indoor/outdoor flexibility you want should top your list. Tour the resort person if you can, and don’t wait too long — popular dates go quickly.

Can we have an outdoor wedding ceremony at the Landmark Resort?

Yes. Couples can say “I do” outdoors on our Terrace or in the Flagship Garden, both overlooking the Bay of Green Bay. From there, we move the celebration indoors to the Egg Harbor Room, where waterfront windows keep that Bay backdrop in view for your reception – rain or shine.

Can we still have an outdoor ceremony if the weather doesn't cooperate?

Yes. If the weather doesn’t cooperate, your ceremony can move indoors to the Egg Harbor Room, which pairs with the Flagship Garden or Terrace for exactly this reason. Your day happens rain or shine.
